Acceptable Use Policy

This policy outlines what is and isn't allowed when using MyWear. By using our Service, you agree to comply with this policy.

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets forth guidelines for using MyWear. We want to maintain a safe, respectful environment for all users while protecting the integrity of our Service.

This policy applies to all users of MyWear, including free and paid subscribers, and covers all content and activities within the Service.

2. Permitted Uses

You MAY use MyWear to:

• Photograph and catalog your personal clothing items
• Create outfit combinations from your wardrobe
• Receive AI-powered style recommendations
• Plan outfits using the calendar feature
• Use virtual try-on with your own photos
• Track your wardrobe statistics and insights
• Export your wardrobe data for personal use

3. Prohibited Content

You may NOT upload, create, or share content that:

3.1 Illegal Content

• Violates any applicable laws or regulations
• Depicts illegal items, weapons, or controlled substances
• Facilitates illegal transactions or activities
• Contains stolen intellectual property

3.2 Harmful Content

• Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or contains nudity (except as necessary for virtual try-on)
• Depicts violence, gore, or graphic content
• Promotes self-harm, eating disorders, or dangerous behavior
• Glorifies or encourages harmful activities

3.3 Abusive Content

• Harasses, bullies, or intimidates others
• Contains hate speech or promotes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Threatens violence against individuals or groups
• Invades others' privacy or contains personal information without consent

3.4 Deceptive Content

• Impersonates any person, brand, or entity
• Contains false or misleading information
• Infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
• Depicts counterfeit products with intent to deceive

3.5 Content Harmful to Minors

• Exploits or endangers minors in any way
• Is designed to attract minors inappropriately
• Violates child protection laws (COPPA, GDPR Article 8, etc.)

4. Prohibited Activities

You may NOT engage in the following activities:

4.1 Security Violations

• Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data you don't own
• Circumvent security measures, authentication, or access controls
• Probe, scan, or test for vulnerabilities
• Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Conduct denial-of-service attacks or overload our systems
• Intercept or monitor data without authorization

4.2 Abuse of Service

• Create multiple accounts to evade restrictions or bans
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools without written permission
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
• Remove, alter, or obscure proprietary notices

4.3 Commercial Misuse

• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service
• Use the Service to build a competing product or service
• Use data or features for commercial purposes without authorization
• Advertise or promote products/services within the app

4.4 Spam and Manipulation

• Send unsolicited communications or promotions
• Manipulate engagement metrics or ratings
• Create fake reviews, testimonials, or feedback
• Engage in coordinated inauthentic behavior

4.5 Identity Violations

• Impersonate MyWear staff, moderators, or other users
• Falsely claim affiliation with any organization
• Create accounts for others without their authorization
• Use another person's identity or likeness without consent

5. Virtual Try-On Guidelines

When using the virtual try-on feature, you must:

5.1 Photo Requirements

• Only use photos of yourself, or photos where you have explicit consent from the person depicted
• Do not upload photos of minors (under 18) for virtual try-on
• Do not use photos of celebrities, public figures, or other individuals without authorization
• Ensure photos do not contain inappropriate or offensive content

5.2 Generated Images

• Virtual try-on images are generated for personal use only
• Do not create inappropriate, offensive, or harmful combinations
• Do not share generated images in ways that could harm, embarrass, or defame others
• Do not use generated images for commercial purposes without authorization

6. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy, please report it to us.

6.1 How to Report

6.2 What to Include

• Description of the violation
• Screenshots or evidence if applicable
• Account information of the violator (if known)
• Date and time of the incident
• Any relevant context

6.3 Our Response

• We will acknowledge receipt within 48 hours
• We will investigate reports promptly and confidentially
• We will take appropriate action based on our findings
• We may not disclose specific actions taken due to privacy considerations

7. Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in the following actions:

We reserve the right to:

• Remove or disable access to violating content without notice
• Suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion
• Report illegal activity to law enforcement authorities
• Cooperate with legal investigations and court orders
• Modify this policy at any time with reasonable notice

7.2 No Refunds

If your account is terminated for policy violations, you are not entitled to refunds for any paid subscriptions or purchases.

8. Appeals

If you believe action was taken against your account in error:

2. Include your account email address
3. Provide a detailed explanation of why you believe the action was incorrect
4. Include any supporting evidence

8.2 Appeal Process

• We will acknowledge your appeal within 5 business days
• We will review your appeal and any new information
• We will respond with our decision within 14 business days
• Our decision on appeal is final

8.3 Limitations

• Each user may submit one appeal per enforcement action
• Appeals submitted after 30 days may not be considered
• We are not obligated to provide detailed explanations of our decisions
